The slight decrease in weights on day 2 was associated with a temporary instability in the humidity control system; no analysis was carried out on that day. Weights could no longer be taken from multiple boxes once machine smoking began, but one box (26) was set aside from the main analysis of smoke yields and its weight monitored until the final day of smoking.
