► Tobacco smoke (TS) exposure promotes development of lung cancer ► Induction of inflammation is a major component of the tumor promoting effect of TS ► IKKβ in myeloid cells and JNK1 are both required for lung inflammation by TS ► They are also required for TS-induced promotion of lung tumorigenesis
